Whilst there are a variety of reasons companies choose Open Source solutions from ease of use to talent attraction, one common theme is the benefits which Open Source technologies provide for dealing with change and volatility. To deliver on this promise, Open Source technologies require robust and committed communities. This talk will outline how community is at the heart of why companies choose Open Source, the responsibility of companies to work with community and how fostering community growth benefits companies in the long run.
